Job Description:



--> Trained Technical position. Works in Process Driven, high degree of supervision environment.

--> Provides support for simple troubleshooting requirements.

--> May be required to work as on-call support or in shifts to provide 24x7 type of support.


Skill 1 - Monitoring Support (L1):



- Extensive knowledge on install & Configure messaging infrastructure

- Handling messaging Migrations & Consolidations

- Upgrade messaging Servers Services Role holders

- Setup & Configure High availability Services

- Performance monitoring of messaging Services role holders

- Policy implementation & Review to accomplish the business requirements

- Working with messaging Management tools

- Review SMTD & EPD Documents & proposing the industrial Best practices

- Perform Health Check of messaging Infrastructure

- Perform & access messaging Infrastructure Security Audit

- Placement of FE & BE role holders across Geo's

- Prepare the capacity forecasting requirement of Hardware & Software requirement


Skill 2 - EMC Product Support (L1):



Event/Alert monitoring of all infrastructure element,Event/Alert monitoring of related applications, Fault Isolation -False positive / False negative, Event Correlation & Suppression,Qualifying the alert /call, Resolving using Standard Operating Procedures(SOP), Assigning to the respective group through Service Desk in case not resolved using SOP, Escalation & Follow-up, as required,through service desk or pre-agreed mechanism, Performing daily / shift related system checks - Based on SOP, Reporting - based on above parameters,At least 1yr in production 24x7 operations, Basic Unix or Windows Server or Network Elements (Switch, Router, Link) Monitoring & AdministITIL knowledge, Should have worked on Monitoring & Ticketing tool.Basic Knowledge on Window & Unix
