Competency (Technical and behavioral):
Experienced engineer – with 2-3 years relevant experience in Verification and Validation activities for Avionics systems.
Good understanding of software/product development processes
Interested in requirements based verification and validation of Avionics products.
Engineering skills and abilities and/or has an area of special expertise in the following areas:
- Embedded system development
- Verification and Validation of avionics systems
- DO-178B expertise
- Test Automation experience
- Expertise in at least one programming language – C/C++
- Expertise in Scripting – VB, perl etc
- Exposure to structural coverage analysis
Demonstrates problem solving skills and uses engineering judgment in solving logical problems
Ability to work independently and come up with solutions to unexposed problems
Ability to mentor others in his/her own areas of expertise.
Focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Comes up with new and innovative ideas to solve issues.
Ability to understand new products and processes and flexible to adapt to new environment.
Demonstrates team work and ability to work with the team. Understands and aligns with the team structure, vision and charter.
Accountable for meeting schedule completion dates or for providing timely feedback when dates cannot be met.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Interacts with project team members and peers to anticipate and resolve day to day issues.
