Job Description:

VMware  Hiring  Freshers & Experienced  as Quality Engineer - BE,B.Tech,BS

* VMware, a pioneer in virtualization software for industry-standard computers, is seeking QE engineers with a proven track record for delivering high quality software products.

* As a QE Engineer, you will be responsible for testing the VMkernel and Resource Management portion of VMware ESX server product.

* This includes systems administration along with test design, implementation, execution, debugging and automation.

* You will work closely with developers to help ship products with very high quality.


Responsibilities:


* Implement test systems for internals/kernel domain of ESX Server Product Use and extend test harnessing, automation and reporting systems.

* Work with a team of QE engineers on the following areas:

* Developing test cases

* Test execution

* Test automation development and execution

* Working on code coverage at system level

* Coverage improvement

* Status reporting


Requirements:


* BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering required

* Linux/Unix knowledge required

* Up to 2 years of hands-on experience in C and/or Perl required
