PMC Hiring Freshers as Systems Analyst-IT Operations - B.E/B.Tech/Diploma


Responsibilities:



* Hands-on experience with enterprise level NetApp Storage environment, monitoring, networking, configuration, capacity management & performance optimization.

* Provide pro-active day-to-day operational support to ensure issues are prevented where possible and resolved according to business impact and established service level agreements.

* Responsibility encompasses the technical streams of disk, tape, and associated systems management technologies. This also includes the restoration of service and identification of the root cause of any problems within the environment.

* Ensuring that storage systems are running smoothly, Storage provisioning/re-claiming, deploying new systems, adding/removing disk shelves, perform ONTAP/firmware upgrades, troubleshooting SAN/NAS/access/performance & connectivity problems, and assessing storage needs from other internal IT groups & clients requirements.

* Extensive SnapVault and SnapMirror experience.

* Must understand concepts of Storage SnapShots, backup & recovery procedures.

* Directs and coordinates the work assigned with respective teams.

* Work with the incident and problem management on root causes and proactive avoidance of future incidents


Qualifications:


* Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience

* Must be able to work & communicate with internal teams, clients & remote site resources by following best practices.

* Creative at problem solving, and a disciplined, detailed and diligent approach to IT project management

* Passionate about delivering results; determined to be the best in your field

* Embrace and / or adopt industry best-practices in IT operations and support processes (e.g. ITIL)

* Must understand concepts of NetApp SnapShots, backup & recovery.

* Must be able to work with NetBackup environment.
