Minimal requirements:

* Basic principles of security rules implementation
    
* Basic knowledge of security best practices
    
* Knowledge of networking TCP/IP
    
* Optimal requirements: Knowledge of rule configuration on at least one of the firewall platforms:
    
* Checkpoint – knowledge of the GUI (Smart Dashboard)
    
* Cisco – knowledge of the CLI rule configuration
    
* Netscreen – knowledge of the CLI rule configuration
    
* Good to have skills -One of the following certification JNCIA, CCNA.
